Here you will find all the assets I made for our grade 12 yearbook. During planning stage I came up with the idea of having a pair of mascot bears for our yearbook that would run through it, and these are the result. I also made most of our yearbook portraits, but because someone wanted to make their own, I was forced to follow their art style as much as I could.
Go backTHIS ISN'T ACTUALLY MINE - it's here because I had to painfully copy this style of pixel art after a special request for a set of assets.
This is the other picture that isn't mine. But I'm putting these here because the person that drew these put me in a situation where I had to follow their art style.
One of the pictures I had to adapt another art style for.
Another one of the pictures with an adapted art style.
I made this one with a merged art style of my own and the adapted one.
One more picture I adapted an artstyle for
Angerery bear, raging at making our yearbook. Our teacher sugessted this one.
A mage bear, wielding the tools of arts.
The athlete themed bear. The red streak was designed to run across pages, like Persona 5's victory screen.
A bear filler picture I made for our baking and fashion page, since I couldn't get enough good photos.
A bear driving a forklift, for our co-op page.
The bear logo we used for our cover.
A bear dribbling a basketball.
A bear with a hockey stick.
The first bear concept art I made to show the yearbook team. (Couldn't find a better photo though...)
Bears rushing to buy all the paper towel. Our yearbook was made during the covid pandemic, so we did a bunch of themes around that too.
Just regular running bears.
More bears in a construction co-op our school had.
A dancing bear with a tutu, requested by one of our team memebers.
We had a lot more pages to use as filler, so the bears were used. This the one starting the grade 9 pictures.
The bear that we used to start the grade 10's pictures.
The bear I made for the start of the grade 11's pictures.
The bear that is now dying inside in grade 12.
Bears taking a selfie, used for award selfie stand ins.
This is the last art piece I made for our yearbook, and it's the final page before the 2020-2021 history news section. This picture also holds a bunch of signifiance to me as it's the last page my teacher requested me. She's one main reason why I actually got better at drawing.
I was in charge of the endsheets, so I decided to make a pixel art of our school, showcasing our school. The bears are running around in the picture.
The other endsheet, but at the back. This time, I made the bears fighting a giant virus - and you can see they're on the final stretch of the boss.
A placeholder for graduation photos that didn't make it.
A second placeholder for our non-existent graduation photos, but this one never got used.
Our graduation page divider - where all our graduation photos started.
A bear levelling up for our academics divider.
Our bears following our link crew bear. Link crew was basically a team introducing our school to the grade 9s.
Pacman bears that we used for some things.
A filler for non-existent photos, though this didn't get used. (I couldn't find a less blurry photo sorry.)
A second alternate filler for non-existent photos. (Also couldn't find a less blurry photo...)
RUN AWAY FROM THE VIRUS!!!
GET THAT STUPID VIRUS!!! (We used these for little accents.)
Bear for our spirit days.
Tech bear, for our technology divider.
